Dr. Brett Almond was born and raised in Panama City Beach, Florida. He earned his PhD in Polymeric Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida in 2002. He completed his medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2004 and served his residency at the University of Michigan graduating in 2009. Dr. Almond then completed a fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville in 2011. He is board certified in Vascular Surgery and is a member of the Florida Vascular Society, the Society of Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons and the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery.
