Born in the Philippines on Clark Air Force Base, Dr. Benjamin Szpila grew up in a military family. He obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas, graduating with honors in 2006. He completed his Medical Degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2010. Dr. Szpila then attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, completing his General Surgery Residency in 2018 and completed a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating in 2020. He is board certified in Vascular Surgery and is a member of the Florida Vascular Society, the Society of Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons and the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery.
