Before your first visit with Bay Surgical Specialists' bariatric surgeon, Dr. Kevin Huguet, we encourage you to attend a LapBand seminar. (Click here for a schedule of seminars.)  After the seminar, you will meet with Dr. Huguet for a consultation, where he will determine if you are an appropriate candidate for bariatric weight loss surgery.  If you are a candidate for surgery, you will be referred to the LifeHelp Bariatric Program at St. Anthony’s Hospital.  All pre-operative tests and appointments will be scheduled through Life-Help.  Once you have completed the required pre-operative tests, you will see Dr. Huguet to review the results and schedule the date for your surgery.
